skater boy poem | my dillon slater | love mommy

my skater boy.

I look in the mirror and see his face,
I reach out to touch him,
but he's no longer there.
I wish my little skater boy were here.

He walks through the backdoor,
skateboard in hand,
his blonde locks peering out

under his helmet,
and over his blue eyes.

He comes up behind me,

and kisses me with loving grace,

he hugs me tight,

and i know I am safe,

for I am in my little sakter boys arms,

and he keeps me from ever any harm.

He shows off as he skates past,
and flashes me a bright handsome smile,
that makes my heart go wild.

He reaches to hold my hand,
as we walk to the park.
Oh how I love you more,
this little skater boy of mine ...

Such sweet words for your lucky-to-have-you little boy :) He will, undoubtedly, cherish this poem forever.
